The 4th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA4) took place in Nairobi/Kenya from March 11 to 15 2019 and has seen an unprecedented involvement of representatives from faith communities. Forty accredited faith-based organizations representing a wide variety of world religions participated in the 4th UNEA. They hosted side events, engaged with policy-makers and cooperated actively to make the voice of their communities heard in the global parliament on the environment. Looking backward and forward, this webinar hosted by the World Evangelical Alliance Sustainability Center (WEASC) based in Bonn/Germany presents reflections by representatives of various faith communities on their engagement at UNEA4 while offering their take on future activities related to global environmental challenges.
