Clean air. Clean water. Rivers and oceans teeming with wondrous creatures. Forests and grasslands, savannas and wetlands, mountains and deserts, bursting with life. Soil alive, fertile, and fruitful. In an age of climate change, a global climate in which creation is resilient, adapts, and still thrives. A world where food systems and economic systems are ecologically sustainable, and every person has a home, a community, a table, and a future in a flourishing place. This is God's good gift of creation — a home for all.
Christian Creation Care is this: Faithfully enjoying the Fruit of God's Gift of Creation. Faithfully protecting the Fruitfulness of Creation.
Our Purpose
The Center is dedicated to serving the local Church. We also work with allies of goodwill who care for creation.
We aim to help the Church lean into its call to be agents of the Gospel, particularly through actively enjoying, protecting, and caring for creation, and, where it is damaged, helping to heal and restore it, for the flourishing of all.
